Ambulatory Care -
We offer veterinary care directly to your farm/ranch with fully equipped vet pickups. We stock a variety of
commonly used medications and are capable of treating a variety of routine and emergency equine issues such as
colics, abscesses, weight loss, wounds, and lameness.
Wellness Care and Preventive Medicine -
Preventing disease through routine immunizations and preventive care is better for your horses overall health. Our
doctors can help you develop individualized wellness programs for your horse including complete physical
examinations, immunizations, parasite control, nutritional counseling, and laboratory testing. We also offer
Coggins testing, brand inspections, and health certificates for all your traveling needs.
Medical Services -
When your horse is sick you can count on our doctors to have the knowledge and experience needed to diagnose and
treat your horse’s illness. We offer care for many acute and chronic conditions in the areas of dermatology,
ophthalmology, neurology, endocrinology, and internal medicine. We work closely with several laboratories to
perform the diagnostic testing needed to properly diagnose your horse's illness. Our office offers serum allergy
testing and immunotherapy through Spectrum Laboratories for horses with allergy problems.
Reproductive Services- Our office is equipped with a BCF EasiScan portable ultrasound that allows us to do
pre-breeding exams as well as pregnancy exams and monitoring during pregnancy. We offer pre-breeding
exams that include uterine culture/biopsy and ultrasound evaluation of the reproductive
Poor dental health can affect your horse in many ways from weight loss to performance issues. Our doctors are
available in clinic or at your farm/ranch to provide full dental assessment and floating of your horse's
Lameness Exams -
Lameness is one of the most common problems in equine medicine. Our doctors are able to evaluate lameness from mild
to severe and help you develop a treatment plan to return your horse to normal function as soon as possible. For
those horses needing radiographic (x-ray) evaluation we have a portable x-ray machine either in-clinic or at your
farm/ranch (films need to be developed at the clinic even if films taken on your farm/ranch) as well as a portalbe
ultrasound unit for tendon imaging.
When it comes time to say goodbye to your horse our doctors can help you in your time of need.
Our doctors are able to provide a variety of equine surgical care including castrations, umbilical hernia repair,
wound/laceration treatment, as well as other procedures depending on the situation.
Microchipping of horses is required by some breed associations and is one form of permanent identification of your
horse. We offer placement of the LifeChip microchip product in your horse.
